It’s been, like, awhile since I’ve posted here – since moving in the Resource Management role with Claire Hoffman, we’ve had a TON of projects thrown our way. Today, one of the big ones goes live!
We’re relaunching the Community-Created Content (CCC) program with some very significant updates. Here are the highlights:
- events with an approved Code of Conduct can write one tier 1 CCC adventure per day of their event; our team does not need to approve the concepts (they must follow the content creation rules, though) – and these adventures must still be published to dmsguild after the event; we will need to review them before they go live on that site
- events that want to create tier 2 or tier 3 content, or tier 1 content that isn’t expressly allowed (see the docs), will need to apply by submitting their proposal during our open submission period. We are only approving a few dozen of these per quarter, so be sure to bring your “A” game!
- the old URL of “dndadventurersleague.org/conventions” is gone, and has been replaced with the tweaked “dndadventurersleague.org/events” – we are aiming at broader support of public play, and the renaming to “events” and “Community-Created” are major milestones along that journey
That’s the gist, summarized and distilled. I’d love for you all to check out the content creation files that we’ve posted, and when you’re ready, send those proposals in!
We are currently accepting CCC proposals for events that run between January 1, 2020 and March 31, 2020. This application window is open from today through 11:59 PM EST on Sunday, July 14.
For events that run in April, May, or June of 2020, we should have that application window open in September.
