Gen Con 50 is in full swing: the city if full of dice-carrying gamers, the park behind the JW Marriott has a Green Day concert going on (we can hear it in our rooms!), and Lost Tales of Myth Drannor has been placed in the very eager hands of our plethora of Dungeon Masters.

But… what if you’re not a Dungeon Master and you’re attending Gen Con? How do you get a copy?

EASY!

Make sure that you are following the official D&D Adventurers League Twitter account (@DnD_AdvLeague). I will be wandering the convention – when not running games through the 4 adventures of the tier 3 DDXP track – and giving away copies periodically. Clues will be given, beholder hats will be worn, and games will be played!

You can check out the D&D Adventurers League event space by checking in with the crew from Baldman Games in the JW Marriott, in Griffin Hall on the 2nd floor. It’s easy trek (and has convenient skywalks so you don’t have to step into the 95 degree heat).

Oh. And one more thing: I hear that people like goblins.

There are a ton of Batiri goblins in the jungles of Chult, and some of them have begun to enter Port Nyanzaru. While the good (and questionably good) people of the Port aren’t too keen on the little people running around and getting underfoot, the ever-crafty trader Fai Chen has recently arrived and has been quick to identify an opportunity to, er, “expand his portfolio” by entering the goblins into a training and education program. For a small donation (50 gp) you may be selected as a long-term tutor for a goblin.

The goblin is a new certificate for the D&D Adventurers League in that it introduces some additional flexibility with this desirable character race from Volo’s Guide to Monsters, and is available when an admin attends your event. Full details can be had by visiting Fai Chen – schedules are available in the D&D event space in the JW!

See you there, and happy gaming, all!
