September will see the release of the Out of the Abyss, the hardcover adventure for the Rage of Demons storyline season. Each season sees the hardcover adventure cut down into a pdf that’s available for free to game stores as the D&D Encounters adventure. Out of the Abyss is released to stores September 15th. The following are other relevant dates and details for the upcoming D&D Encounters and D&D Expeditions season.

The D&D Encounters: Out of the Abyss adventure is scheduled to be available for download on or about August 31.- The hardcover adventure will be available for Wizards Play Locations locations on September 4.
- The official D&D Encounters start date is September 9.
With D&D Encounters and D&D Expeditions for Rage of Demons starting up in September, now is the time to schedule those games in the Wizards Events Reporter to make sure that your store receives the D&D Encounters and D&D Expeditions kits.
